Year 4 - Magnificent Mountains

Year 4 children have been learning about the geography of Kenya over the last 5 weeks and one area we focused on was mountains.
We spent some time looking at different mountains in Kenya and other parts of the world, how they were formed and created some comparisons between them.
The children have spent the last three sessions creating their own mountain either based on a real one or from their imagination.
Their efforts have been superb with lots of children deciding to use natural materials to create their masterpieces.
We hope you enjoy having a look at them - maybe you’ll be inspired to have a go at making your own.
