Sukkah Building

19th March 2021

In RE this half term the children have been learning about nature and God and have been finding out about traditions from different religions. This week they were learning about the Jewish Celebration of Sukkot. They talked about how Jewish people make a Sukkah during this time and its importance to them in remembering the time in the desert. The children then went outside to work in groups to make Sukkahs of their own. All the children had specific roles to fulfil, and you can see from the photos that they did an amazing job.
