Medal-Tastic

A team of BNIS swimmers took part in the PIPSSA Invitational Swimming Championship at St Christopher's School in Nanyuki today (Saturday 1st February).
The day began rather overcast but, after a while, the sun appeared to offer welcome warmth for our swimmers between races.
The event started with Individual Medley races. Some of our older competitors took to the water and set an extremely high standard for the rest of the day. The children were clearly inspired by these amazing performances and put on a great show throughout all the separate stroke races and the relays to finish the day.
We are always impressed by the effort put in by our children at sporting events but the results today were outstanding. We won medals across the board and were the winning girls team and 1st runners up boys team!! What an achievement!
